Chives

Native to the Orient, Greece and Sweden, chives are the most delicately flavored member of the onion family.

Chives make an attractive garnish for savory foods. Sprinkle on potatoes, salads and vegetables. Mix with cream cheese or butter.  Add to soup and egg dishes but add to hot foods at the last moment as heat lessens the flavor of chives.
